v0 translator
Type an English sentence. See it in Ikwo.
This is a lookup tool, not a machine-translation model. It reads a 1,001-sentence English↔Ikwo corpus that our team is reviewing with fluent Ikwo speakers in Ikwo LGA. Some draft translations still contain errors and non-standard diacritics; every result below links to the source row so a reviewer can flag or correct it.
How this works
A lookup tool, ninety percent of the time
What it is now
A client-side matcher over a 1,001-sentence conversational corpus. Exact, containing, contained, and token-overlap matches. No server, no ML model. Everything runs in your browser.
What is next
After the fluent-speaker review workshop closes, we ship a cleaner corpus, then extend to Izzi and Ezza. Once the ELDP elder-speech pilot lands, audio playback goes on every row. The ML translation model comes after that.
What it is not
Not a real translator. It cannot handle sentences outside the corpus. It cannot infer grammar. Draft translations may carry typos or non-standard diacritics; the review workshop is what fixes those, row by row.
